Job Summary
Assist in system electrical layout, specify wiring materials (wiring, connectors, PLCs), and create FRACAS entries. Rework wiring harnesses, generate wiring lists and electrical drawings, and implement hardware layout changes via ECO. Conduct I/O testing and assist in system startup procedures; bench-test electrical devices (power supplies, battery assemblies, PCBs) and troubleshoot gateway computers and related hardware. Recommend electrical layout improvements; follow electrical safety practices including lock-out/tag-out. Must interpret schematics, work in a cross-functional group, and operate electrical test equipment (DVM, DMM, oscilloscope). Education required: high school diploma with training certification; minimum eight years of related experience.
