Job Summary
Perform electrical/electronic installation, maintenance, and repair on a variety of structures, machinery, and equipment in strict compliance with the National Electrical Codes. Read and interpret electrical schematics, analyze designs, and potentially fabricate entire electrical systems. Lead and train junior electricians, coordinate services for electrical and related HVAC systems, and develop bid specifications and part inventories. Ensure safety and quality control, respond to emergency situations as directed, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. This role may involve assuming Chief Electrician duties as needed and requires strong judgment, documentation, and adherence to safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED. Sixty college credit hours with courses in the electrical field or completion of technical school.
- Two years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or possess Master Electrician along with high voltage experience.
- Valid Texas driver's license. Must have Journeyman electrical license. Class C Surface Water Treatment license within 3 years (Water Plant).
