Electrician - Section Lead

Job Summary
Lead and supervise a section of electricians performing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems across Al Udeid Air Base. Plan, assign, and oversee daily work activities while ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and host nation regulations. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance inspections, review electrical drawings and schematics, and coordinate with other trades and base representatives. Enforce safety procedures, perform job safety analyses, and maintain accurate records of work orders and material usage. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and support emergency response as required. This role requires a Master or Journeymen license, a DoD Secret Clearance, and the ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical systems
- Master or Journeymen License required
- Master or Journeymen level license for an Electrician
- Ability to read and interpret building diagrams and technical manuals
- Experience with and knowledge of NEC and NFPA-40
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
- 100% travel in deployed location
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the British Electrical Code (BEC)
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport
- Prior experience working on U.S. military installations or overseas locations
