Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment components according to defined specifications. Install high and low voltage assemblies into mobile equipment, inspect for faults, and adjust or replace defective parts. Compile parts and labor estimates, communicate with supervisors, and test repaired equipment to ensure operational performance. Complete time records, technical reports, failure reports, and submit drawing revisions while participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a certified electrician license, 2 to 5 years of experience, and proficiency reading electrical diagrams. Valid driver's license and ability to work legally in Canada are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Electrician license
- 2 to 5 years' experience
- Highly proficient reading of electrical diagrams
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve problems and perform electrical repairs on mining equipment
- Communication skills, both oral and written
- Computer skills (MS Office suite)
- Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle
- Must be able to work legally in Canada
