Job Summary
Assist electricians with installing electrical systems, wiring, and equipment while carrying tools, maintaining a clean work area, and performing basic tasks like drilling, cutting, and mounting. Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing required PPE, and handle the distribution of tools and materials as needed. Support the team in completing projects on time and conduct daily jobsite cleanup and housekeeping. Work in all weather conditions, lift loads of 50-100 lbs frequently, and be available for overtime and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and be at least 18 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Be punctual and dependable to work scheduled shifts
- Basic knowledge of tools and tool handling
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Have a high regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others
- Perform tasks wearing required PPE such as protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects, loads of 50-100 lbs. frequently
- Be able to work in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.) depending on job location and/or time of year
- Effective communication skills to be able to work well with others
- Must be respectful with your words and actions towards co-workers, clients, and vendors
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the electrical field is a plus
