Job Summary
Electrician needed for a 100% travel data-collection role supporting arc flash evaluations for industrial and commercial clients. Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites, opening live equipment to record data, reading and editing one-line diagrams, creating accurate as-built drawings, uploading data via online storage and spreadsheets, and communicating with engineers and customers to ensure accuracy. The candidate works largely independently with strong self-management, while maintaining constant communication with the internal team. The role requires identifying components within electrical distribution systems, applying labels to equipment, and professionally representing the company on-site across diverse facilities (from factories to hospitals and more). Ideal candidates have industrial electrical experience, the ability to travel, read electrical drawings, and operate with laptop-based tools and document management software. A background in arc flash evaluations or an electrical engineering degree is a plus, and an electrical license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial electrical experience
- Ability to travel and live within an hour of a major airport
- Read and understand one-line drawings
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel by air
- Proficiency with laptops/tablets and applications like Google Drive, spreadsheets, Google Photos, PDFs
- Electrical license (preferred)
