Job Summary
Industrial Electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in a production environment. Duties include installing, inspecting, repairing, or replacing wiring, fixtures, and conduits from blueprints/specifications; routing and terminating conductors; testing equipment; commissioning motor drive systems (Parker/ABB preferred); reading and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley preferred); diagnosing faults; performing preventive/predictive maintenance; calibrating instrumentation; collaborating with Electrical/Engineering teams; and upholding safety and quality in a fast-paced plant setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid electrician license (309A or 442A)
- 3+ years of industrial/production experience with machine troubleshooting
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic issues
- Read, program, and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley experience preferred)
- Communicate clearly with team members verbally and in writing
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment
- Maintain and improve preventive and predictive maintenance systems
- Calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
