Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems and components in residential settings; troubleshoot wiring, outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, and related equipment; inspect electrical systems and recommend solutions to improve safety and performance; educate homeowners on electrical system operation, maintenance, and repair options; ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes; mentor and support Apprentice Electricians as needed; accurately document completed work using company software; vehicle provided, dispatch from home; five- or four-day work weeks depending on location; no Sunday shifts; comprehensive benefits and career advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Residential electrical experience
- Applicable state and local electrical licenses
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of residential electrical systems, installation methods, and applicable codes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use mobile technology for documentation and invoicing
