Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment for energy generation, distribution, and utilization, including troubleshooting wiring, circuits, motors, and lighting systems up to 480 V. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance on fixtures, and run new power cables for base buildings. Prepare estimates, track man hours and materials, and order inventory replacements per established procedures. Requires knowledge of NEC code, blueprint reading, and valid DPOR Journeyman or Master License. Salary $28.00-$40.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of NEC code
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and construction drawings
- Knowledge and experience working with voltages up to 480 V
- US Citizen
- Valid Drivers license
- High school Diploma or GED
- DPOR Journeyman or Master License from any state to transfer or 10 years relevant field experience
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active government clearance at time of application
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders to include extension ladders repetitively during the shift
- Basic decision-making skills
