Job Summary
Electrician needed to install conduit, wire, support fixtures, lighting and devices on a Seoul-based building project. Collaborate with architectural and mechanical trades, inspect and test electrical systems, stay current with NEC and local codes, and support other trades to meet project goals. Requires an up-to-date electrician’s license, TS clearance, and 5–7 years of commercial/industrial experience. Work hours are 7:00–17:30, Monday–Saturday; transportation to/from the project provided; housing included (one-bedroom within 15 minutes by car); coach-class air travel provided. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical panels, fire alarm systems, and energy-efficient equipment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Up-to-date electrician’s license
- 5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Ability to run conduit
- Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes
- Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products
- Use of testing equipment and hand tools
- Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients
