Job Summary
Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment to locate breakdowns and correct problems. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and code compliance needs. Repair or replace wiring and equipment using hand and power tools. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Test electrical system continuity of circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety. Requires 5 years of experience with high-voltage systems up to 480 Volt 3-phase and PLCs in a manufacturing facility. Nights 7:00PM-7:00AM 2-2-3 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of High-Voltage systems up to 480 Volt 3-phase power and 500 volt D-C, AC/DC Drives and PLC's in a manufacturing facility
- Electrical theory including basic ohms-law application
- wide range of technical and mechanical knowledge and skills
- basic mechanical skills with pneumatics and hydraulic systems
