Job Summary
Journeyman Electrician needed to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Key duties include bending conduit (EMT, IMC, RMC), running and terminating wiring for power and control systems, installing panels, breakers, disconnects, motors, and related equipment, reading blueprints and electrical drawings, and ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes. The role emphasizes safe, efficient fieldwork, coordination with supervisors and other trades, and use of hand/power tools and testing equipment. Preferred qualifications include OSHA 10/30, experience with motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and large-scale industrial projects.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- Strong conduit bending skills using hand and hydraulic benders
- Experience running and terminating electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
