Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and surface preparation. Visually inspect tools and operate utility shut-offs while maintaining inventory and requisitioning parts. Communicate daily activities to other shifts using approved programs. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance and adhere to safety policies. Program TVs, perform minor drywall repairs, and handle landscaping tasks. Complete safety training and maintain professional appearance while assisting guests.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration
- Ability to acquire knowledge in electrical
- Ability to acquire knowledge in mechanical
- Ability to acquire knowledge in plumbing
- Ability to acquire knowledge in pneumatic/electronic systems and controls
- Ability to acquire knowledge in carpentry and finish skills
- Ability to acquire knowledge in kitchen equipment
- Ability to acquire knowledge in vehicles
- Ability to acquire knowledge in energy conservation
- Ability to acquire knowledge in general building
- Basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
- Must be able to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to perform heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance
- Must be able to use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work
- Must follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Must be able to report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Must be able to complete safety training and certifications
- Must be able to properly store flammable materials
- Must ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Must be able to protect company assets
