Electrician - Multiple Locations (Dallas Water Utilities - WWC)

Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures for city buildings, facilities, and infrastructure including pump stations and traffic signals in compliance with federal, state, and city codes. Perform electrical work for installation, testing, and troubleshooting of power circuits; develop plans and specifications for maintenance and renovation projects. Troubleshoot apparatus and motors using schematics to ensure safety and compatibility. Inspect systems to identify hazards, test circuits to locate defects, and document all maintenance activities. Train apprentices and small crews on installation and repair procedures while assisting with personnel management. Read blueprints and diagrams to determine equipment locations and conformance to building codes. Perform preventive maintenance, connect and pull wires according to diagrams, and make accurate estimates for time, materials, and labor. Requires a valid driver's license and a current State of Texas Journeyman Electrician's License.
