Electrician

Electrician sought at the Fairport Mine to perform general electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of new systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with 3-phase systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include maintaining uptime by diagnosing and repairing low- to high-voltage electrical systems (including shaftways and hard-to-access areas), completing documentation (inspection sheets, timecards, work orders, reports), using electrical schematics and CMMS to plan and execute repairs, coordinating with operations, maintenance and vendors to source parts, supporting mechanical repairs, maintaining safe work practices, and performing related duties. Requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work on 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) in a Monday–Friday schedule. Skills in MCCs, PLCs, soft starts, 480V/4160V systems, and electrical calculations for new installations are important; ATF license eligibility is noted. MSHA certification is preferred.
