Job Summary
Electrician needed for the Fairport Mine to perform general electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of new systems. Candidate should have strong experience with 3-phase systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting, and will work Monday–Friday on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM). Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing high- and low-voltage electrical systems (including shaftways), documenting work with inspection sheets and work orders, using CMMS to plan and verify tasks, coordinating with operations/vendors for parts and issues, supporting mechanical repairs, and promoting safe electrical practices. Preferred candidates have 2+ years of industrial electrical experience and MSHA certification. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Knowledge of 3-phase systems and motor controls (480V and 4160V)
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics/ladder logic
- Ability to plan and execute maintenance using CMMS
- Ability to work in underground mining environments
- ATF license application capability
