Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, inspect DC drives, and interpret schematics to maintain conveyor systems, compressors, and pumps. Perform welding, soldering, and installation of fans, blowers, piping, valves, and electrical controls. Install, examine, replace, or repair wiring, motors, generators, and industrial control systems while conducting preventive maintenance and keeping records. Ensure shop equipment remains clean and safe, adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Work 12-hour rotating continental shifts with a rate of $52.29/hr including dual certification premium.
Required Qualifications
- Valid industrial mechanic/millwright 433A/electrical certificate 422A
- Minimum of 7 years' experience
- Knowledge of calipers and other measuring devices
- Knowledge of computer skills using MS Office products
- Ability to read prints
- Must be able to work a 12-hour Continental Shift
