Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment across construction and industrial sites while running conduit and reading blueprints to execute plans. Diagnose issues using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ammeters and ohmmeters, ensuring all work adheres to National Electrical Code standards and local safety regulations. Conduct inspections of high voltage systems (480V) to verify proper operation and maintain detailed records of work performed, including test results and schematics modifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical wiring and systems
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and testing instruments (e.g., ammeters, ohmmeters)
