Job Summary
Conduct maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems in tenanted properties, including fault diagnosis, consumer unit rectification, and first fix rewires. Inspect, test, and certify installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations while delivering reactive repairs and planned maintenance. Communicate clearly with tenants regarding work nature and outcomes, ensuring work areas remain clean and safe. Manage workloads using IT systems to meet daily targets and adhere to all health and safety policies. Requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations and a clean UK driving licence.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations - to include AM2 City & Guilds 18th Edition (If you have 17th edition you can work through your 18th edition)
- Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395)
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Previous domestic, social housing experience
- Entitlement to work within the UK
- Age over 21
- Held your licence over 3 months
- Less than 9 points on driving record
