Job Summary
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while diagnosing malfunctioning systems. Connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers, inspect electrical components, and test circuit continuity to ensure system compatibility and safety. Perform duties requiring standing, walking, climbing stairs with heavy loads, working at heights on aerial lifts or scaffolding, and operating in extreme weather conditions. Maintain confidentiality, attend meetings and trainings, and record work assignments. Be on call 24/7 for emergencies. Requires a High School Diploma, two years of trade school or work experience, and a valid driver's license; a Master Electrical License is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years of trade school or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of safety practices
- Ability to carry tools and lift and handle materials of 80 to 100 pounds
- Ability to climb up and down stairs with heavy loads to load and unload materials
- Requires working at heights on aerial lifts, scaffolding, stepladders and/or extension ladders; or to crawl in, under, over, or through equipment
- Must be able to work inside or outside in extreme weather conditions
- Required to be on call 24/7 for emergencies
