Job Summary
Electrician position in Sweetwater, TX responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures and systems in Ludlum Measurements facilities. Duties include installing conduits and pipe, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, connecting wiring to circuit breakers and powerlines, testing electrical systems, inspecting for repairs, replacing conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers, and performing related duties. Requires reading blueprints/building designs, extensive knowledge of electrical systems, proficiency with hand and power tools, use of diagnostic equipment, strong problem-solving and communication skills, color vision for wiring, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ascend ladders. An apprenticeship is in progress or completed; an electrician’s license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- In process or completion of a formal apprenticeship
- Electrician’s license preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States

- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring

- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Excellent verbal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
