Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial and commercial environments. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations, while troubleshooting issues using diagnostic tools. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support operational efficiency, and maintain accurate documentation of activities. Identify safety hazards and report concerns promptly. Work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid electrician license or certification
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
- Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments
- Journeyman level certification
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
