Job Summary
Prepare sketches, measure conduit, and install control apparatus while ensuring concealed wiring is completed before walls and ceilings. Test circuit continuity with instruments like oscilloscopes and troubleshoot electrical systems and production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. Perform PLC troubleshooting and assist with programming as needed, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment up to 480V is required, along with the ability to read wiring schematics. The role involves working extended schedules, weekends, and shifts during the fresh pack season from July through early November.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Ability to diagnose and repair production equipment in an industrial setting
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment up to 480V
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics (ladder logic)
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November)
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician Washington State License (A+)
