Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for skilled electrical work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across Kewadin Casino properties. Key duties include ensuring compliance with electrical codes, installing and maintaining electrical fixtures, diagnosing electrical issues, and performing corrective repairs. The role requires substantial practical electrical experience, knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols, and the ability to work independently. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to respond effectively to emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8,000 hours of documented practical electrical experience
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- State of Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or facility-maintenance environments
