Job Summary
Conduct residential and light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues, identifying potential problems to prevent breakdowns. Maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components by inspecting breakers, fuses, and circuits for malfunctions. Interpret drawings, specifications, and building codes to determine layout requirements and work procedures. Measure, cut, and install wiring while assembling light fixtures, alarm systems, and test equipment. Locate and mark installation positions, connections, and fixtures in structures. Submit complete paperwork and maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management. Work extended hours, nights, or weekends under stressful conditions, including exposure to verbal or physical confrontations. Requires ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform stooping, kneeling, crawling, and balancing tasks.
