Electrician (Industrial)

Job Summary
Prioritize safety in daily work activities, including completion of Job Hazard Analyses and work area inspections prior to work execution. Perform preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and process control equipment across cement plant and quarry operations. Maintain and troubleshoot substations, power distribution systems, switchgear, motors, motor controls, and PLC systems while calibrating field instrumentation. Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency troubleshooting activities to minimize operational downtime, documenting all maintenance activities within management systems. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to improve equipment uptime and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and plant performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical experience
- Three to seven years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience supporting cement plant, mining, aggregates or heavy industrial operations
- Technical training in electrical systems, instrumentation or industrial automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work safely in fast-paced industrial environments
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of equipment reliability
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical experience preferred
- Three to seven years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
- Experience supporting cement plant, mining, aggregates or heavy industrial operations strongly preferred
