Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance and repair mission-essential electrical equipment and components, including low-voltage and medium-voltage systems such as chillers, variable frequency drives, emergency generators, and panel boards. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings to ensure uninterrupted production for manufacturing clients. Solve complex challenges in state-of-the-art facilities while prioritizing the safety, health, and well-being of your team and the environment. Perform safety-sensitive labor involving climbing, working at heights, and exposure to loud noise, fumes, and chemicals. Requires at least three years of commercial and industrial electrical maintenance experience and the ability to read system drawings.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 3 years of related commercial and industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Varied electrical and mechanical experience
- Proven understanding of electrical system components and theory
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings
- Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements
- Specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing, and cardiorespiratory demands
- Ability to work in areas with loud noise, active machinery, high-pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, airborne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals
- Use of appropriate safety equipment
