Job Summary
Electrical Technician role focused on skilled electrical installations and repairs at water and wastewater facilities, including 480V/2300V switchgear, motor control systems, power systems and emergency power; collaborate with contractors, oversee projects, maintain and document wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics; ensure safety and weather-related availability (evenings, weekends, callbacks) and perform approvals and reporting as directed by Maintenance Foreman; requires Journeyman license, HS diploma/equivalent, 7+ years in electrical trade, and valid Texas CDL preferred; hands-on work across treatment plants, pump stations, and field equipment with strong emphasis on safety and coordination with operations staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Seven years of experience in electrical trade or industrial maintenance
- Texas State issued Journeyman’s license is required
- Valid Texas Driver’s License is required
- CDL is preferred
