Job Summary
As an Electrician I, you will support government tool service trucks, assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of tools, and manage the delivery of calibrated equipment. You'll provide proper usage guidance to ship personnel, maintain detailed records, and perform inspections and preventative maintenance on tools. The role requires communication skills for instructing others, the ability to lift and move heavy objects, and proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. You will also coordinate hazmat management and may be required to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Requires High School Diploma or GED.
- Obtain and maintain a HAZMAT certificate of completion from NAVBASE Environmental Compliance.
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
- Exposure to dirt, dust, loud noise, and outside weather conditions.
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance and Common Access Card.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in the various areas of assignment and use of required tools.
- Mathematical and analytical skills.
