Job Summary

Conduct electronic and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on manufacturing machines and facility premises using work orders. Install and repair electrical systems, PLC controls, and components including motors, relays, and control panels. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to comply with safety policies and manufacturer procedures. Install various lighting and low-voltage network wiring throughout the plant while adhering to the National Electrical Code. Replace faulty components and perform electrical construction wiring for new or remodeled facilities. Read schematic diagrams, change fuses, and follow Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Maintain compliance with Federal, Local, and State regulations and HSE policies. Report nonconformances to management immediately and participate in HSE performance improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or general construction trades
  • Minimum of 1 year of related manufacturing experience and/or training
  • basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills
  • PLC experience
  • ability to learn to read, interpret manufacturers drawings, blueprints and written instructions
  • Familiarity with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
  • Evidence of 'US person' is required under ITAR
  • no facial hair a NIOSH Approved Beard
  • pass an annual respirator fit test
  • ability to learn Work Order program
  • ability to learn Word Processing software
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to speak and present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • working knowledge of safety standards related to machinery operation use (including lock out / tag out) and machine guarding
  • familiar with the site's HSE policy and objectives
  • Position is for our C Shift
  • Friday-Sunday, 4:00am – 5:00pm
