Job Summary
Install and repair wiring, conduit, and electrical fixtures within billboard and shop environments per NEC standards. Maintain digital displays, lighting, and control equipment while managing lockout/tagout procedures and planning installations to minimize material waste. Troubleshoot electrical problems and report unsafe conditions, requiring the ability to climb elevated heights safely in various weather conditions. Use multi-meters, power tools, and hand tools to complete tasks involving voltages from 120 to 240 single and 208 three phase. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure proper system integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years minimum electrical experience
- Ability without fearing to climb and work safely at elevated heights, 60ft or more
- Read blueprints and schematic
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix electrical problems
- Licensed electrician or be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to meet the definition of a qualified person in a sign/billboard work environment
- Experience working with voltages from 120 to 240 single and 208 three phase
