Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, conduit, panelboards, and automation components like PLC cabinets and VFDs. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise installation while performing motor terminations, bending conduit, and excavating trenches. Collaborate with foremen and project managers to meet milestones, maintaining a clean site and adhering to NEC standards and OSHA safety protocols. Requires 1-5 years of experience, strong math skills, and ability to work in varied conditions. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-5 years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, job site safety protocols, and proper PPE usage
- Ability to accurately perform basic and advanced math, including fractions, decimals, and measurements
- Skilled in reading technical documents: blueprints, instructions, procedures, labels, and gauges
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal)
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to talk and hear clearly to communicate with team members and supervisors
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs
- Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including confined spaces and elevated work areas
Desired Qualifications
