Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on air conditioning, filtration, auxiliary building, carding, drawing, and spinning equipment. Maintain processing units, fire systems, air compressors, and HVAC systems throughout the plant. Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring equipment using proper hand and power tools. Connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers while inspecting systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance. Advise management on hazardous operations and test circuit continuity using specialized devices. Work 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am in a cotton dust environment within the Yarns Division.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years electrical experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a cotton dust environment
- Ability to follow instructions and willingness to work with a team
- Exceptional attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work safely at all times, observing all electrical safety requirements related to the job and plant
- Ability to work in a cotton dust environment
- 12-hours night shifts, 7pm to 7am
