Job Summary
Conduct electrical installation, replacement, upgrade, and modification work for UPS and generator systems, including conduit, wire, cable, disconnects, breakers, and panels. Read electrical drawings, one-lines, and blueprints to guide installation. Troubleshoot connections and assist with equipment changeouts, tie-ins, and shutdown work. Follow site safety requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and codes while maintaining a clean work area. Coordinate with supervision and facility personnel during overnight shifts. This one-month temporary assignment begins around July 27th, deploying from Northwest Arkansas to various sites for critical power infrastructure upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Valid electrical license or journeyman-level experience
- Ability to read electrical prints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
- Comfortable working overnight for the full duration of the project
- Ability to lift materials, work on ladders or lifts, and perform the physical duties of electrical construction work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with UPS systems, generators, emergency power, critical power, switchgear, transfer switches, or electrical distribution systems
- Valid electrical license or journeyman-level experience
