Job Summary
Install standby home generators, wiring, transfer switches, and load management systems. Perform EV charger installations for residential and commercial units, including necessary circuit and panel upgrades. Troubleshoot electrical issues related to generators, EV chargers, and power distribution systems while ensuring compliance with NEC and local regulations. Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete jobs efficiently and safely, maintaining clean worksites and providing excellent customer service. Minimum one year of generator installation experience and two years with electrical panels are required. Willingness to work overtime is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in generator installations
- Experience with EV charger installations (residential and/or commercial)
- 2+ years experience working with or installing electrical panels, wiring, and transfer switches
- Willing to work overtime
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications from generator manufacturers (Generac)
- Experience with smart home electrical systems and battery backups
- Familiarity with solar and renewable energy systems
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
