Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, apparatuses, and control components of stationary engines, gas turbines, and generators. Diagnose malfunctions in transformers, motors, and relays to take corrective measures. Install wire and conduit, terminate wiring, and replace faulty components or electric motor bearings. Align, adjust, and calibrate devices according to specifications while maintaining repair records. Read dials, meters, and gauges to verify operation and prepare legible work orders. Comply with all plant safety, regulatory, and environmental procedures. Willing to work 12-hour day or night shifts with 100% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Engineering Degree in Electrical Technology
- 3 years of experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants / Petro-Chemical industries
- Willing to work 12 hours on Day or Night Shift
- 100% travel is required
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
- Read and understand technical manuals and system piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Read, understand, and comply with all plant safety and regulatory procedures
- Comply with all the EHS policies and procedures as adopted and implemented at plant site
- Understand OH&S risks / hazards and environmental / legislative aspect / impacts related to work activities
