Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems, conduit, lighting, and motor feeders in commercial and industrial settings while analyzing blueprints and complying with the National Electric Code. Maintain current licensing, participate in safety audits, and provide technical assistance and mentorship to apprentices. Clean job sites and tools, and work without direct supervision as part of a cohesive team. This role requires 60-75% travel and a flexible schedule between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must hold an apprenticeship or equivalent 8,000 hours of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
- 60-75% travel
- Maintains current licensing and training requirements
- Analyzes blueprints effectively
- Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Demonstrates ability to layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders
- Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions
- Provides technical assistance to other field employees as needed
- Provides direction, training, and mentorship to Helpers/Apprentices
- Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems
- Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections
- Works as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision
- Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles
- Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety requirements
- Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate
- Successfully passing a background and drug test
