Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components according to codes and specifications while performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Diagnose issues using testing devices, read blueprints and schematics, and install wiring, conduit, and fixtures following NEC standards. Troubleshoot malfunctions, conduct performance tests, and maintain accurate daily reports on crew status, hours, and materials used. Collaborate with engineers and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget. Requires 5+ years of commercial or industrial experience, proficiency in reading drawings, and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Valid Georgia driver's license with clean record required. Background check, MVR, and drug test mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of electrical codes, tools, and equipment
- Experience in industrial construction and GRC installation
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Physically able to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Safety-minded
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Clean driving record
