Job Summary

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, drives, lighting, and power distribution equipment while diagnosing failures using schematics and test equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure, interpret technical documentation, and support PLC-controlled equipment troubleshooting. Execute lockout/tagout procedures, document all work in the CMMS, and respond to emergency electrical issues to restore operations. Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities team on utility and equipment problems, assist with contractor oversight, and ensure strict compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards. Full-time Monday through Friday with availability for off-shifts, overtime, and weekend work as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access electrical panels and equipment
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces
  • Exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and industrial environments
  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday
  • Availability for off-shift or emergency response as required
  • Overtime or weekend work may be required based on equipment or facility needs
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical certifications, electrical apprenticeship, or trade school training
  • 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
  • Experience working in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
