Job Summary
Conduct underground conduit, trenching, and riser installation while reading blueprints, shop drawings, and 3D models. Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, switches, outlets, and lighting systems, ensuring all work complies with local codes and safety regulations. Perform troubleshooting, grounding, bonding, and emergency power system maintenance, including UPS and backup generators. Collaborate with engineers and other trades during commissioning and startup, documenting all maintenance activities and test results. Manage material requisitions and follow lockout/tagout procedures. Lead the team by offering guidance, implementing lean improvements, and maintaining a positive workplace culture through the 5S method.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical certification and schooling
- Electricians training card
- State certified journeyman
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Willingness to improve and contribute to continuous improvement by providing ideas and feedback to manager
- Ability to work independently and as part of an evolving team
- Committed to creating and participating in a positive workplace culture
- Capable of providing excellent internal and external customer interactions
- Committed to arriving on time and ready to work
