Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring quality and safety and providing planning/direction to the assigned crew for construction activities. Supervises and trains craft workers, coordinates daily tasks, ensures adherence to safety plans, reads blueprints/ISO/P&IDs, completes quality and safety documentation, manages timesheets, and maintains look-ahead planning. Requires extensive construction experience and demonstrated supervisory capability; NCCER certification or equivalent technical certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eight (8) years of construction experience
- Minimum of six (6) years of craft-classified experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supervision for any externally recruited candidates that are not currently a Yates employee
- Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical, or trade school such as NCCER Certification Plus
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language
- Read ISO's, Blueprints, P&IDs
- Successful completion of required Safety training including Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights
