Job Summary
Electrician on a dry bulk carrier is responsible to the Chief Engineer for maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment, adopting safe working practices, conducting UMS and alarm tests, assisting during maintenance beyond electrical tasks, performing first-level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment, and supporting safe, efficient operation of electrical equipment during cargo operations. The role requires good teamwork, orderly task execution, and a willingness to ask for clarification when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Electrician with experience on vessels or ships is preferred
- Maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment
