Job Summary
Electrician Helper needed to support licensed electricians on residential and commercial projects in the Valdosta/Thomasville/Tifton area. Entry-level role providing hands-on experience and a steppingstone to an apprenticeship or full electrician career. Primary duties include material handling, site preparation and cleanup, basic wire work (measuring, cutting, stripping insulation, bending conduit), assisting with installations (electrical systems, lighting, circuits, outlets, fans) under supervision, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting with a test meter. Physical labor is required (lifting, bending, standing, working in various weather). Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Prior electrical/construction experience is preferred. Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn the trade are essential.
