Job Summary
Maintains, repairs, and updates electrical equipment throughout the Company; installs power sources and wiring; troubleshoots electrical problems; restores power when failures occur; designs circuitry for special projects; maintains parts inventory; completes work orders and related paperwork; documents test and inspection dates; collaborates with area staff and management; adheres to NEC, OSHA, NFPA and regulatory requirements; performs routine and emergency electrical-maintenance tasks, reads blueprints, conducts Lockout/Tagout, and participates in safety and process-improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with 2-year federally approved technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Journeyman electrician license is required.
