Job Summary

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components and test electrical systems using devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety. Repair and install devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, switches, and motors while using power tools and measuring equipment. Accomplish work according to blueprints, specifications, and national/local codes, updating as-built drawings as necessary. Maintain building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly, and safe condition. Attend toolbox safety meetings and obtain OSHA 10 General Industry certification. Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English
ability to cooperate and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to move/lift heavy objects
Must be able to climb vertical ladders
Must be able to work at heights
Must be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools
