Job Summary
Build and assemble electrical enclosures, run cables and conduit, and wire vacuum chambers unsupervised. Perform repetitive production tasks, solder and test cables, and troubleshoot systems using various tools and meters. Read schematics, apply NEC code standards, and manage workloads while assisting apprentices. Maintain and repair equipment to code, run temporary power, and perform complex calculations for wiring. Requires a valid electrician license with 2 years' experience, 10% travel to customer sites, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work in loud environments wearing full PPE. Required Qualifications
- Vocational High School diploma or equivalent in Electrical
- Possess a valid electrician license
- 2 years' experience preferably in controls
- Must be able to wear safety shoes, goggles, hoods with protective lenses, and other PPE designed to prevent injuries
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to perform complex calculations and wire accordingly
- Minimum to 10% travel requirement to customer sites
