Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize critical electrical systems and infrastructure supporting patient care and hospital operations on a 24-hour rotational roster. Diagnose electrical faults, perform scheduled servicing, and inspect equipment in accordance with manufacturer requirements and compliance standards. Manage work scheduling, maintain accurate service records, and collaborate with clinical staff to support service improvement and risk mitigation initiatives within Downer's Zero Harm safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification
- Current South Australian Electrical Workers Registration
- White Card (WHS General Induction)
- Valid, unrestricted driver's licence
- Solid experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulatory requirements
- Safe work practices, including working at heights and with EWP
- A team mindset with good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, organised approach and a commitment to excellence
- Rotational roster that supports critical hospital operations
- Day, afternoon and night shift coverage
- Extended periods of standard day shift work between rostered rotation cycles
