Job Summary
Electrician to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry for fueling and charging stations. Will read blueprints, identify circuit locations, and use hand and power tools (conduit benders, testers) to install wiring and conduits to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, POS consoles, and tank monitors. Will troubleshoot malfunctioning systems with meters (ohm meter, volt meter, amp probe, megger) and ensure safety compliance per codes and project specs. Responsibilities include inspecting systems, advising on hazards, supporting material take-off and cost estimation, and performing in outdoor conditions under time constraints. Requires strong communication, ability to lift 75–100 lbs, and collaboration with team members in a field environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience
- Knowledge of Electrician standards & codes
