Job Summary

Layout conduit systems, lighting, and control systems while analyzing blueprints and ensuring projects meet specifications. Troubleshoot, maintain, and install basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code and OSHA standards. Clean workstations and tools, manage materials, and anticipate equipment needs to sustain lean manufacturing principles. Provide direction and mentorship to General Assemblers and Apprentices, participating in toolbox talks and safety audits. Work as a cohesive team member without direct supervision, completing project portions on time, within budget, and safely. Schedule includes 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am shifts, with 10-25% travel.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
  • 10-25% travel
  • Availability between the hours of 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am depending on assigned shift
  • Ability to layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders
  • Ability to analyze blueprints effectively
  • Ability to ensure all projects are built to specifications and accuracy expectations
  • Ability to obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively
  • Ability to accept increasing responsibility
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size
  • Ability to comprehend and incorporate specifications effectively
  • Ability to install, maintain, and/or troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Ability to consistently complete portions of projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner
  • Ability to consistently follow workplace safety procedures and ensure manufacturing crews are working safely according to company policies
  • Ability to immediately identify, correct, and/or report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner
  • Ability to participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions
  • Ability to help drive and sustain lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to provide direction, training, and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices
  • Ability to coach and inspire General Assemblers/Apprentices to surpass customer expectations and company vision/goals
  • Ability to actively participate in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate
