Job Summary
Conduct maintenance and repair duties as an Electrician & Instrument Repair specialist in the manufacturing department, utilizing a State of Oregon Journey Level Limited Plant Manufacturing Electrician's license. Manage electrical systems including 480V and 2400V equipment, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and 4/20 mA process control loops while adhering to safety protocols. Schedule includes day shift Monday through Friday with potential overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays; overtime and premium pay apply for holidays and nights. Successful candidates may complete an in-house instrumentation program. Union membership is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- State of Oregon Journey Level Limited Plant Manufacturing Electrician's license or better
- 3 years journey level electrical experience in a manufacturing facility
- knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC's
- Delta V or DCS equivalent
- 4/20 MA process control loops
- 480V and 2400V equipment
- must be willing and able to safely perform job duties
- union membership
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AC/DC drives
- familiarity with 12470V
- Prior manufacturing and/or pulp and paper experience
